Well the ranking system was better in Halo 3, You always played with people around your skill level..
It really sucks sometimes that I am playing in Team slayer and have to play against a party who play as a team while one of my teammaters is at the other side of the map with a sniper rifle hoping to see someone, another one is behind a corner waiting with a shotgun and the last one is just boosting CR (aka is not playing the game but let his game on so he get a lot of CR..)..
Well Bungie made it for the casual players in the hope people will play it untill they get the highest rank.
It takes around 80-90 days of real playtime before you get their (and we are less than ten days away before someone will reach it).
