If you don't understand the fundamental differences between the old and new testament, you need to stop talking about Christianity right now.

At least try to understand your opposition before blithering on about what they believe.

It's in the Bible, and you said the Bible is all about love and compassion and all that. I still don't see where the love and compassion is in "do all the irrational opressive things I tell you to do, opr else you'll burn in hell".
