Regarding the Bible, I stopped reading at Leviticus.
Didn't see much love and compassion in it, and you forget the part about non-Christians burning in hell. That will be a nice thing to teach the African kids. Indoctrinate them, terrorize them, psychologically abuse them with this religion. There are no grey areas.
