I'm not misinformed either, I voiced my opinion, I think this whole thing is a bit redundent. It is affecting normal consumers who never did anything wrong because Anonymous think they are fighting for certain rights. In the end of it the discussion flies back to hacking and piracy and the end of the argument whether or not that's why Anonymous is doing it (they wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't for someone hacking PS3 OS ). But I'm more concerned over the PSN though, was that actually brought down or was it just 2 websites? |
Thats what YOU are saying cause you have little or no knowledge on the situation. The lawsuit is about freedom to do what a person wants on a system they bought with their money. If a person wants to play pirated games on their PS3 they should have the freedom to do so but it will still be illegal.Anonymous and Geohotz is fighting for everyone's freedom. If psn is more important than the freedom to do what you want with something you bought for your money then there is no hope for you. The PS3 is capable of a lot more than just play pirated games and if people want to use it for other stuff they should have the freedom to do so. If Geohot wins the case nothing will change and piracy will still be illegal. If Sony wins they have the permission to manipulate how you use your PS3. They can brick it for their own reasons (which i doubt they will) and refuse to give you a replacement. Im just giving you an example so you will understand why Anonymous is hacking them. Do you understand the reality of the situation now?
