Alright so too days ago my computer crashed. I could barely do anything I tried control alt delete to close which ever program was hogging up the CPU. I found that something called SVChost or what ever was using 99% of the CPU. I couldn't close it because it was a system function.

I shut my computer down and restarted. I didn't notice much was wrong until the next day. When I logged in the next day I noticed that my Anti-Virus program didn't boot up like it always does. So I manually tried booting it, when I did I got this weird message saying something that the link did not work and that I needed to fix it in the folder control panel.

I tried fixing it in the folder control panel but couldn't get it running. I went online to try and find out how to fix it and get my anti virus running. When suddenly Fire Fox closed. I tried openning it and it gave me the same message. I tried going into the folder control panel and fixing it. I then openned Explorer and started researching again when suddenly Explorer crashed. I got the same message again. I decided to use Chrome, while on Chrome I lost internet, it said my wireless connection couldn't be openned due to a problem in the folder control panel.

So I went into my computers control panel but couldn't use anything. The error message started showing up for everything. I couldn't access any of my controls. Microsoft Office went down every single program on my computer seized up.

I turned off the computer and booted up safe mode , I tried doing a system restore but I couldn't it gave me the same error message. I then searched my desk for the Microsoft XP boot disks to re-instal XP. But found out my boot disks I got with my computer are actually for a NoteBook and not my PC, last time I deal with an independant computer shop.

So anyways it seems my home computer is dead now, I think it was a virus but I don't know. What do you think?

Also I guess I won't be online often anymore, I tried using VGChartz with my Wii and DS but both systems said they had insufficient memory to run VGChartz.

This sucks monkey balls, any suggestions on what I could try to do? (If your a computer knowledged person)
