See the thing is anon isn't some cohesive group, there are people who can really hack that associate with them, but they aren't going to be attacking sony. They deal with things of a more serious nature (wikileaks and all that jazz). The anon who will be doing the sony attacks are likely just a bunch of people with LOIC and a god complex.

And in addition, Anon is good when run by intelligent and competent individuals. Anon is bad when hijacked by basement dwelling 4chaners who attempt to achieve cyber godhood.
