True, but there are other new markets which may benefit from this. Projectors for example...1080p 2D projectors are 1000 bucks. 3D 1080p ones are currently around 4000.

Also 120 hz 3D PC monitors can't play PS3, 3D bluray devices and 3D cable...but with this adapter they can. 

I am mostly interested in projectors as they use DLP chips which have great pixel response time as well us have 85 hz refresh rate, which is better than standard 60 hz.
