CGI-Quality said: New Uncharted 3 info emerges

Naughty Dog recently released a new trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception which introduced you to the game’s main villain as well as showcase some features of the game. The team was present over at GDC 2011 and they talked about UC 3 in detail over there.
Today, we discover a few details regarding the game, which includes the 3D tech used in the game as well as the various fire effects that the game will be incorporating.
3D:
- The 3D support for the game was planned from the beginning and isn’t a feature forced mid-way through development.
- The 3D tech is being made from scratch and has been fully integrated into the game’s engine.
- The 3D tech will also benefit the visual rendering of the 2D version of the game.
- The 3D experience will try to re-create all the feelings of the player in-game and transfer them to you, such as the feeling of dizziness during certain section of the game.
Fire Effects:
- The particle system the game has been reworked to make the most spectacular fire-effects possible.
- The intensity and execution of fire clearly give the impression that the player is trapped in the fire
- The fire will affect the environment, it can open up new paths and can be used in combat as you can shoot certain razing items to make them collapse, assisting you in battle.
- The enemies will have several animations which they will showcase when present in a environment which is on fire.
- Immense effort has been made by the team to incorporate several reactions for Drake when he is surrounded by fire, to make it seems as realistic behavior.
I still laugh at the people that think 3D will somehow "penalize" the game.

its going to be like multiplayer for the last one.
every one complained saying it would make the campain worse.
but it turned out multi and campain were awesome.
ND even said doing multiplayer, forced them to refine the gameplay, which in turn made their campain better
