Even if your lappy did use 200-pin DDR ram, if it was not designed for DDR2 then there's no way you're going to be able to make it work. You could always buy DDR ram instead though, if you can find it for cheap somewhere. |
So I'm guessing I'm wrong in thinking that what type of ram will work is dependent on the chipset?
