I agree with that other guy above with his HDTV statement.

Kinect might be a sensor, microphone, camera etc, whatever you want to call it. But in the end you can't develop for "10% of Kinect's capabilities". There might be a few more tricks you could pull off in the future, but in the end, Kinect isn't complex, it does the job it was designed to do.

The reason why I used the PS3 as an example of something which has much more potential than it had in 2007 is because it is a complex console, developing for a console is different. The PS3 has a very odd and uknown architecture, developers have to try and squeeze out every polygon and pixel they can, and never have I heard a developer saying they have only developered for "10% of the PS3's capabilities".

What a rediculous statement. I think SpartenOmega his the nail on the head when he said "April fools".

For a technology that is brand new and they seem to be founding out how to do things very often it is very possible that it has huge capabilites, I also stated that I dont know this can be managed in a number, but I think they are just starting to crack the iceberg, whether that is 10 percent to some people then hell make it 10percent.

Also 10 percent of the ps3's capabilities, if you want to argue that Kinect does everything now that it was designed to do then the same argument is for ps3, it plays games, it plays movies and you can go on the internet. Capabilities reached... no more.

Now dont compare the damn two consoles because the ps3 has nothing to do with this thread.
