Long story short Christianity is very complex you can't stereotype all Christian's into a single denomination. Some believe in ghosts , others in demon's and angel's and some don't even believe in God though I don't consider those denominations Christian.

Well that makes no sense. Of course they're not Christians (or even religious for taht matter)/

Thats the problem they consider themselves Christian's. Theirs actually a church in the city I live in who believes that God is love and not actually God. They also believe that Jesus was just a very good man and that the Bible is a good book which we should follow to be good people.

So they claim because they believe the Bible is a good book that we should lead our lives by, and they believe Jesus was a real man that they are Christian.

Their are so many different denominations of Christianity, its pretty much impossible to rope them all into a single group.

Well if they only follow the nice beliefs (which is basically mostly everything from the New Testament, Old Testament is a bit nasty in places) then I'd actually find myself mostly agreeing with that group. From the bible it's very hard to dislike Jesus, he was a good man and exceptionally socially progressive for somebody 2000 years ago.

Yeah, but wouldn't you say he was too much of a hippie? Plus, his beliefs would basically halt all economic and technological progress in a society (ascentism, non-violence, living off begging etc.) which would lead to an overall low standard of living.

Seeing as that standard is subjective (ex. We don't live badly because in the future we will live better) then it wouldn't really matter.
