See, you took one facet of a belief and extrapolated to the point that it became the whole. That's almost similar to Jack Thompson looking at one game and coming to the conclusion that all games are almost of the same nature.
Now, where exactly does it say that it's okay for priests to sleep with young boys? Since your argument is geared towards the Christian faith, how many branches condone and encourage homosexual activity?
Your argument would fall in line just as I would say that atheism could be very detrimental to a person's well-being because statistically atheists are more prone to suicide than people of faith, and there are studies that have come to that very same conclusion.
