The game was gorgeous. The boss battles were epic. When I look back at the game, that's all that really sticks out. As for the story, I personally never thought it was that great. A guy driven by vengeance. It just so happens he's a bad ass that can level titans. Which sets the scene for a wonderful -if not the best hacker/action- game.
The game has little to no re-playability. I platinum-ed it on my first go. The ending was stupid, and destroyed any chance for a good sequel.
Did I mention how awesome the actual battles against the Gods were? Hercules comes to mind, when Kratos is just starring at him with a fucking care in the world.
