No you don't have to select the Ads. The ads load up on the dashboard and then you can select them for detailed viewing I guess. http://www.pcworld.com/article/207925/new_ps3_netflix_version_leapfrogs_xbox_360_best_version_yet.html I have searched for videos on youtube even in standard form. But lets not include the web browser since you included indie games as well. If that's the case then lets not include anything like twitter, facebook, and any other social app on the 360/PS3. Resistance 2 one game proves that its possible and that developers don't consider it important. Furthermore its not available on all games on 360 either, just the one's that support split-screen, and this has more to do with split-screen games than XBL/PSN. Voice messaging you can have it, then. Its a method of communication that relies on someone else opening their inbox. So if you have the option of sending email or voice message you may use either depending on what you are comfortable with. Its the same thing. Maybe its a little bit faster that's all. If you have any faith in XBL ratings 5 star BS then I am sorry I won't be continuing this discussion. I have a 5 star rating myself, but that is unimportant. Nobody uses it other than griefers. If you like someone then no one is going to waste his time liking everybody. But if you don't like someone then you will instantly neg him. I have extreme experience in playing Gears of war, people will neg just because you left a match because of lag, or because of disconnection, or even because you took the f*cking sniper rifle. Its complete BS system that even MS doesn't put that much faith in. The what's playing thing is such a stretch. Its unnecessary, even if it exists. It still doesn't tell when the guy whose playing has gone to the toilet, ZOMG! Its unnecessary. Profile info? So you are arguing about which online service lets you see profile info? Gamer zones will always be a joke. "Underground", "Pro", "D*c*head" mean little and you realise this when you play XBL. The winky face means I am kidding. I kid that means PSN is more developer friendly, it means XBL is less developer friendly. The music thing is not defending XBL price its more like saying you can get features for cost on both platforms. There's a $3 version too although its limited. Yes, you can't save music to the 360, which sucks. Doesn't it? Must mean PSN is extremely superior now. The Uncharted 2 was 18 hours continously. And there are other developers like Insomniac games and other participating as well. If you have a small amount of time then I guess it sucks. But that's not saying much for PSN/XBL. It says about you. The fact is what you pointed out actually proves a point for the PSN, it is more patch friendly. Achievements, trophies? A game's true worth is not in its imaginary trophies. And this is important to be learnt.
EDIT: If you have problems following this post, then look up your response to me. |
You didn't actually say anything. You were just really condescending about whatever I posted (but that's okay.) . Is that what this discussion has become? I will give yout the Netflix thing. I tend to use Netflix on the PSN simply because I can set the console to shut down in 2hrs on the PSN instead of 6hrs on the Xbox 360. I use it on the 360 when I want people to know what I'm watching. Aside from that, we're just arguing semantics. We'll just go ahead and say I won and leave it at that.
*Edit*Hey! I gave you that Netflix arguement until I actually read the article. That was before the Xbox Live Netflix update. I don't know about the sound but both versions (and the Wii version) all have the same interface and such, now!! I think PS3 got the udate in October (like the article said) and 360 got the update in November. PS3 DOES load faster, though.
