Lets see about this one. Hmm...To view ads on the PSN, you have to hover over the PSN store icon or what's new. It doesn't load until then. There's a difference because xbox live ads take up the bandwidth even if you aren't interested in them. Also PSN is free. A free system is making it optional whereas a premium service is making it mandatory, how amazing.  To view ads on the 360, you have to select them, too.

Yeah, but netflix on the PS3 has better audio quality, and such small integrations in netflix aren't that important to a person who will obviously watch netflix to be entertained and not to watch avatars or talk to your friends. The watch together option is cool though.  They sound the same to me.

You can force youtube to work normally and can see videos easily. If you care.  Yes.  You can select "view standard version" and it won't let you search the videos.  Pretty important part of watching videos on youtube, don'tcha think?
Resistance 2 has this feature as well.  One game on one console compared to every game on another console.
Yeah ok, voice messaging is a plus for those who use it. I didn't, since there's always text chat.  A feature used by many.  Just because you don't use it doesn't mean it doesn't matter.
All those functions, don't work properly and I expected you to know better d21. Yeah prefer, avoid, as if they ever worked.  It works.  What do you want me to say?  And being preferred also helps your rep.  People actually pay attention to your rating.  If you don't have five stars, I want to know why.  Where you quitting early?  Do you trash talk?  It's all there in the profile.
Yeah, like its a big deal what a person is doing in game. Really, on which level he is, what he is doing is nothing of use to me. PSN does tell when a person is playing on a particular map though so I can always join him through XMB.  Again, it's not a big deal to you but you don't equal the world.
Friends' friends list is a good feature, but profile info is useless. I would rather its not visible to anyone.  You have the option to turn them off, let only your friends see them, or let everyone see them.  And if you don't want to see one, don't look for it in the other person's profile.  Just look at their gamercard.
Gamer zones? They are just, once again a feature that's a joke. Its just for looking at a profile nothing else. True-skill, again as I said before, is a joke and has to be implemented by the developers themselves.  Calling it a joke doesn't make it non-existent.  Several games from Halo to Uno use True-Skill.  It's up to you if you play someone in a higher/lower skill set.
Something that is mandatory on XBL, and not PSN. PSN is more developer friendly then   I see the "winky face" So I know you're kidding.
Leaderboards are there in PSN games too so I don't see where you are going with this? Its upto the developer.  Every game in XBLA.  I don't even have to start up the game.  I can just look at the game in my library and see the achievements and how well my friends have done in the game.  Hell, sometimes when I'm playing a game, it will tell me how close I am to a friend's score.
Minis and PS one games. And a pentium 4 can play this indie games without any problem so its not much of big deal.  I guess you can call it a draw.  And my PC can run anything on the PS3 browser.  I'll leave indie games out of the equation if you leave the PS3 browser out.  Deal?
Do the videos cost the same as well? I don't know about this one, its possible that you are right about this.  I'm not sure if they cost the same.  I do know that if you delete it without backing it up on PSN, it's gone.  Me and the Sony rep had a long conversation about that, last year.
There is a cross game text chat that supports 16 people and at the max 48 people on PSN. This 48 people text chat is a little different since it consists of 3 text chat rooms, and is helpful for games like MAG. Not all 48 people can talk with each other, but the one who has started the text rooms can talk with each and every one of them. So in a situation you described we won't have a problem on PSN. PS3 supports USB keyboard in game so we can text chat using a cheap keyboard. No need to get an expensive accessory either.  Did not know about that chat room option.  I must give it a try, sometime.  Kudos to you, old chap.
Not in all regions that's for sure. And I can watch all of those on the internets anyway.  True.  Just like there's certain content on my PS3's European account that isn't available here in the USA.  Luckily, I live in the region where that content is available.
PS recently got a Music streaming service which costs $10 / month. If you care. ON the PS3 playing music while playing games isn't exactly possible, but what's the point of it when storing music on the 360 is 10x harder than PS3? I can transfer music from a USB storage, and its one of the reasons why I listen to music more on my PS3.  Like I said, $10 a month.  Do you realize what you've just done?  You've justified the cost of Xbox Live.  Last.FM is available for all Gold members.  $60 a year for all of Xbox Live or $120 a year for the PSN's music service?  Hmmm........  And I can listen to any music from the 360's USB.  I just can't save it to the 360's HDD.

Yeah games on demand right, you couldn't have picked a worse argument for xbox live. Xbox 1 games however I agree with, they are good. PSN has PSone games, and its picking up the steam on PS3 games as well, Assassins Creed 2, prototype and many other games are being made available for PSN because they now need to be made since they have to offer a new trial every month for PS plus members.  You may need to take a look at which games are available for Xbox Live, now.  They have their most acclaimed titles ready for download.  PSN may be catching up, though.  There's some good stuff there (like DCU Online).

The console isn't actually turned off. And you can do the same on the PS3 for free by "selecting turn the system off when the downloads are completed" option.  My Wii isn't really turned off.  The yellow light is on.  My PS3 isn't turned of.  The red light is on.  My girlfriend isn't turned off.  My hard is on.  Of course the 360 isn't turned off.  It goes to a low powered state, just like my TV.  How the hell would it turn on when I press the powere button on the remote.  The "turn off the system when downloads are completed" option isn't a low powered stat.  It's a full powered stat.

What? Know nothing of this, and is completely useless even if true. There are developers playing throughout the world, Naughty dogs played Uncharted for almost 18 hours in an event so its their on PSN as well, its nothing special.  http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/events?xr=shellnav  Not just 18 hours.  It's a way of life.  No devs or stars this month, apparently.  Oh well.
I have already addressed this. Most people don't face this problems unless you are using wireless. I used to use wireless and it used to lag, I changed and it hasn't lagged since.  I already addressed this.  I don't use satellite internet.  I don't use Wi-Fi.  I have internet directly from the phone company.

Yeah patches, the reason for this is not slow PSN more like huge patches. And the reason there are huge patches is because of developers utilising the PSN's strength, no limit on patches. If you have played games like MAG and Heavy Rain you will see that they have huge patches(Heavy Rain 1 GB move patch, MAG is an MMO). Obviously they will take time. Something like this is not possible on the 360.  Huge patches or not, when I only have a small amount of time to play a game and the update takes that entire amount of time, I am not pleased.
There are many people who communicate on the PSN. Not as many as XBL but then again with this comes the advantage of not having nearly as many annoying kids online. Yes you can mute, but then again you can join a clan or play with friends.  There are many people who communicate on the PSN.  There are more that communicate on Live.  If there's an annoying kid, block them forever.  That's one of the options that Live offers.
More freebies are on the PSN. For eg you have free themes, free wallpapers. There are some addons that are free too, and I have never managed to get free add-ons on 360(except for Gears of war). But its comparable in a way if you disregard PS plus.  Toss in Fable 2, Fable 3, Ace Combat, Burnout, Alan Wake, and several other games.  There's free content to be found.  There's full free games.  There's free wallpaper (sometimes, the exact same wallpapers are available on both consoles from people like Disruptive Publishing).
Achievements, trophies, don't mean that much. The no. of PS3 games that don't support trophies are now the minority so it doesn't matter that much to me, however a game like MGS 4 should have had trophies I guess.   Achievements do mean that much.  There's a reason why people seek out games lie TMNT and Avatar on XBL.  There's a reason why the Trophy League and Achievement League threads are among the biggest on this site.

Wow.  I can't believe I responded to that.  There ya go, champ.
