The app store is just a sad market. They have to sells the games for dirt cheap just to compete.
The most successful, once in a life time, smartphone game ever angry birds sells 100m copies, sells at a buck. makes 100mil (impressive).
Any mildly successful ds game, sells 5m, sells at $30, deveolpers gets about $20, makes 100mil. makes another 50mil for among retailers, shipping companies etc, overall better for the economy.
But atleast they get to compete right?
