Which shows that Nintendo's internal projections were astronomic, so long as all this record-breaking stuff is true (pretty sure that's accurate)

Regarding the record preorders in the UK, there was a news piece that several retailers played up the number of preorders they received from consumers in order to get more stock allocated from Nintendo.

And we had Amazon hyping the 3DS every other week, I remember this whole twice as much as Wii for weeeks.
