I really don't know but I doubt it...
I have 9 PS3 games, only one of them has an online mode (Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots) and I haven't played it for a very long time since I already cleared it 14 times and unlocked all 40 emblems... and when I do play it, I play the single player mode.
The only thing I use PSN for is downloading Demos, Videos, Synching trophies, etc. so it wouldn't make sense for me to pay for online play which to this day I don't use.
Maybe I could change my mind in the future...
The one thing that's making me want to pay for PSN plus is the Online Storage of Save Files... I'd really like to back-up my Copy-protected save files like Bayonetta and Vanquish. I already bought an external HDD and backed up the whole system but it will be useles if my PS3 breaks because the copy-protected save files can only be restored to the PS3 that created the back-up :S
I hope the PS4 doesn't even give developers the option to lock your saves to your console :P
