I wear my giant ass, but killer sounding AKG's when I fly, and some dude at the airport stopped me to say "rockin some pretty serious headphones" to me. I just like em cause they're comfy and sound great. In-ears freak me out, cause i'm afraid i'll fall asleep and roll over and they'll fall into my head.
