I do believe in premonitions though. Happened often before... Too often for it to be coincidence. Happened with a few members of my family too... Only women, for some reason.

But premonitions make just as little sense and are even more easily explained away as a trick of the mind.

I think a lot of it is confirmation bias. I mean, there are plenty of times I've thought about something randomly and its happened soon after. But what about all the times you think about something and it doesn't happen? With all of the thousands of times you think about random stuff each day, some of it is bound to happen.
