The only fiction book worth of mentioning that I've read is The Name of the Rose, which I liked very much. I prefer books about history, economy and scientific divulgation. Of these I've read Dragons of Eden and The History of Time. Currently reading Common Wealth: Economics for a Crowded Planet by Jeffrey Sachs.
