Multiplatform games from last year have notoriously been better on the 360 and sometimes significantly better on the Microsoft platform than the PS3.  Rainbow Six Vegas, GRAW2, Assassins Creed and The Orange Box are all notably better on the 360 than the PS3.

The PS3 deserves to have the same if not better from each new multiplatform game that is released.  The first game that did this, was Call of Duty 4.  It was virtually identical on both the 360 and PS3 and according to the developers the PS3 version is better if only slightly.

Anyway, there are two more big multiplatform games being released over the next month, Burnout Paradise and Devil May Cry 4.  And according to reports, both versions are slightly better performance wise on the PS3.

It's about time this was happening.  Not sure whether it's down to the developers getting to grips with the new hardware or whether they are developing for the PS3 first and porting it to the 360.

Anyway, is this the turn of the tide?  Will we be seeing PS3 versions of multiplatforms games at least being equal to their 360 counterpart?

The telling signs will be with the releases of Turok, The Club, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Army of Two and Grand Theft Auto 4 over the next 3 months.
