Can someone explain what is sony's reward program?

Essentially its getting free things like Avatars and Themes for doing stuff on the PSN and your PS3.  Like going on Home, playing games, buying things from the PS Store, getting specific trophies for certain games.  There were 3 levels for the rewards,  and you got more stuff at each level.

And as far as it being straight forward,  It wasnt very difficult.  Everything you did on PSN and your PS3 was assigned a point value,  what those were no one was told.  And there were 3 tiers of the reward system, Select, Pro, Legendary.   The more stuff you did the more points you would accrue and higher up the teirs you would go.  There was also a list of activities that would earn you bonus points for completing. One was as simple as just visiting the Town Square in Home.
