The reply about detecting hands movement is a bit silly. Yes of course if you put your hands up in front of the camera so that its more or less the only thing on-screen and then Microsoft can create hand/finger detection software. But I think most people are thinking about it in terms of detecting finger movements at the same distance as current games expect you to stand, and at that distance you will never with the current gen camera be able to detect finger movement. So yes, you can replace body movement detection with hand detection, but you will have to choose.
