Guys scare me about 99% of the time. I grew up in an abusive household, so that really didn't raise my opinion about guys at all. Plus, I've never been able to have a conversation that lasts longer than 5 minutes with a guy because I can't stand it when they start making jokes about sex or female anatomy. I haven't had a male friend since I was 10. So, at this point, I've pretty much given up on high school-aged guys as far as friends go. Maybe it'll be different once I'm in college. I'm pretty inept when it comes to striking up a convo with a dude, so maybe not even then! |
I can relate to this.
"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"
"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

I will definitely agree that one should NEVER try to talk to girls about music, but they're generally civilized otherwise. And I don't watch much TV, so I don't care. And the most violent console game that I have (outside of 999) is Monster Hunter Tri or Goldeneye 007, and they don't qualify as violent as far as games go. Until I go away to college next year, I won't be able to own any violent video games.
