I have to admit that Forza has stolen the racing sim crown from GT5 this gen.
10x better graphics are obviously not possible, but I think the talented guys at Turn10 might surprise us with Forza4.

Well considering GT is driving sim, not a racing sim. So I guess no one has to give a damn about this as nothing was stolen since GT never had that crown.
Current console "racing sims" would probably be... F1? Nascar? Forza. There isn't many is there.

See my previous post above, please.

the entire point of GT is to recreate the driving experience of vehicles. Racing is not the point. You drive while racing, yes. But instead of focusing in the racing, the vehicles are the main focus, hence why GT5 has so many cars. Polyphony would rather you buy the expensive Ferrari and run around various practive tracks figuring out how it handles and make you feel like your driving it than racing around the track hitting and bumping every other car like an idiot.

I just got finished a 5 hour tuning session with the GT40 to maximize it's performance tested it on about every single track under almost all conditions, I'm still not done.
on that note, when GT5 does get down to the actual profession racing Le Mans, Super GT, Nascar, Touring Car Series, etc. it's much better than what's provided in Forza 3 imo, but that's like 20% of the actual GT experience, and not the focus of it by any stretch. I am looking forward to what they will do in Forza 4 though

I have to admit Killzone stole the Sci fi Fps crown from Halo. WTF no it didn't. GT5 has double the amount of cars that Forza has

More cars doesn't mean a better game. And when you have 14 different iterations of one car I don't count that as 14 cars. A skyline is a skyline. A supra is a supra.
