I got mine an hour ago, and bought pilotwings resort with it. First thing I tried out was the AR games, and I was having trouble getting them to work, but I think that was because I was trying to play it in a poorly lit area. I've played Pilot Wings for about half an hour and was very impressed with the 3D. A little less impressed with the graphical quality of the game, I thought the Island would look almost as crisp as in Wii Sports Resort, but textures are not near as smooth as they are on Wii (even in 2D mode). I also really like the analog stick, it worked really well and control was smooth with it. I then played Faceraiders for a couple of minutes, which was pretty funny. Then my battery died (system is only partly charged out of the box) so I'm using the charging cradle for the first time now.
The 3D viewing angle is very narrow, even more so than I thought it would be. That said, after a few minutes I had no problem staying in the sweet spot. I did not have any eye strain after playing it so far.
So my early impressions are very positive overall, I'm looking forward to playing with it more later
