That's why i found it so funny that the French got ahead of this and led the whole "No Fly zone" situation in the first place.

The Italians are far too busy with their Prime Minister's Orgy trial.


I was somewhat suprised. However I think France has always gotten involved in african affairs. I remember in Rwanda the French helped the Rwandan Government and protected some of its members and granted other asylum. Also France has played a huge role in other African countries. I guess theirs still abit of colonialism left in France they still view Africa as their pet project.

So honestly I wasn't suprised to see France getting so involved. I think it was inevitable that they get involved especially when the Government they supported starts butchering its people. I think France wanted to distance themselves from Gaddafi big time. So backing the rebels was a good way to say (We support the Libyan people)!
