If I had a spare PS3 I might be tempted to try it just for educational purposes, but no PSN means no games, so why? It's just a fricken game console. The hackers seem to think they are doing some noble deed by opening it up, I don't give a ****, I bought it to play blu-rays and play Playstation games (it's my first sony console). If they want more features and openess, why not buy a nettop like I did for $165, a refurbed acer with Ion graphics, capable of 1080, M.A.M.E. and tons of other emulators, can blutooth to sixaxis, and only uses 25 watts! You want to change the start up sound? Hah!
