All those things have either been criticised to some extent or deserve their praise.
Rockstar Games is the only reasonable answer I can give. Their games have been filled with issues, but have been universally acclaimed for such silly reasons. According to Metacritic, Red Dead and GTA 4 are two of the best games ever made. I dislike both of them, but I can at least understand the appeal, but even with that in mind, their issues can only allow me to tolerate a 92 at maximum.
GTA 4 isn't Oscar worthy and John Marsden is not the spiritual succesor to the 'Man with no Name.'
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
