Well the word YOU does not apply in this case. Anyways, everyone has a bit of awkwardness there first time. So age does not really make any difference there. Not having sex does not mean have a negative view of sex. Where the hell you get that?  This is not a black or white issue hardly anything is.Plus, how many people end up with very deep issues because they are so in to sex? Who gives a rats ass if someone wants to wait for that someone?

One of my friends is and will come right out and tell you he is a man whore. Not once has he tried to make anyone feel bad for not wanting to have sexual intercourse. IN fact, he was dating this one girl who was a virgin at 19. When he found out he simply called it off because ofcourse he wanted sex.  Not once has he made it out to be some horrible thing that will lead to deep issues. Because maybe it will maybe it wont. Same thing if you sleep around. Maybe it will cause you deep issues maybe it wont. He respects that I choose to be careful about who I sleep with. Just the same as I still respect him and his whoreness. It does not affect anyone else so who cares? Its bullshit for anyone to try to make someone who practices abstinence to feel wrong for it. Its some of the dumbest shit I have ever heard.

Waiting to have sex 'till your 30s is more likely to cause "issues" then sleeping around a lot. Actually, I remember reading a psychological study that found that people who remained virgins after the age of 22 were very likely to develop sexual dysfunction.

And there's a big difference between "being careful about who you sleep with" and "waiting for that someone". That "someone" does not exist.

Now obviously making someone feel bad for being a virgin is not cool, though neither is trying to make people who like to have lots of sex feel bad about themselves. In the end people can do whatever they want, but we are just having a conversation here about this topic.

Do you find that sex is something dirty? Shameful? Would you feel guilty having sex with someone you found attractive, yet had no romantic feelings towards? Do you feel that sex is perverted unless it's "with that someone". If the answer to any of those questions is YES then you have a negative view of sex.
