NO HE DID NOT. HE SIMPLY DIDN'T SEND THE CONTROLLER CARD.
YOU KNOW, LIKE A RAID CARD. HE DID -NOT- STRIP DOWN THE HARD DRIVES TO THEIR PLATTERS DON'T BE SO STUPID.
