Demon's Souls: I had no idea. The game scared the shit out of me, it forced me (Im serious) to break a $50 controller, it made me love and hate it at the same time, and I still have dreams about it from time to time (have not picked it up in at least 6 months).
Eternal Sonata: This is one of the most creative ideas for a RPG that I can remember (up there with the ideas behind .Hack). I cherished this game, it was beautiful and depressing, the music was wonderful and just pushed everything along. Id love to dream like that.
Persona 3: I had stopped watching anime for a good while until I picked up Persona 3. The game was completely awesome and on top of that, got me back into watching anime.
