@marc Seeing as you're new here I'll let you in on something, you're never going to clear that up. Some, for whatever reason, refuse to accept that the video game business is a business no matter how many times you point it out or how many times looking at it from a business standpoint predicts what will happen. They've gone through many stages: 1) The Wii will never sell because it's a kiddy system with a stupid name. 2) The Wii was going to launch great because Nintendo systems always do but it'll fall off. 3) Nintendo systems always sell well for the first few months then fall off. 4) It's just a fad, the novelty will shortly wear off. 5) The present sucks, lets talk about which system will potentially still be viable technologically in the 2020's. 6) WOW, the present sucks worse than we could have imagined, well even if the Wii leads it won't sell 3rd party games because they never sell on Nintendo systems (video game history started in 1996 apparently). 7) Aha, lack of 3rd party support because 3rd parties hate the Wii as much as we do and just like us would rather it fail than the 3rd parties make money. The Wii is doomed yet, muahahahaha. Some advice, have fun poking holes in this fantasy universe, just don't expect anything to change except their excuses for why the Wii will fail (after their previous one is proven incorrect).
