I've already tried both of these in full HD on my PC using the gamecube wii emulator. Guess what, they are not better games in HD especially Code Veronica which is seriously flawed at this point.


THIS!  I hate when people complain about the new games because they think the old style was so amazing!!  Go back and play one of the old games on PSN/Dreamcast or somthing and then tell me how bad RE4/RE5 are.  They may not be scary anymore but at least they're fun!

(waits for the reply about how the games are supposed to be scary and not fun despite the fact that only RE1 was scary and only for about the first half of the game)

RE1 was scary in 1996 for sure. But today the only scary part for these games is trying to steer your character.

I'd support a RE1 remake like re-release with aditional twists and content. But a just re-rendering the game in 720p is garbage. Dreamcast collection is guilty of this too.
