Kamakura-based Kayac has put Microsoft's Kinect peripheral to unique use for an upcoming interactive exhibit that will help promote the upcoming Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society 3D movie.
The exhibit recreates the world of Stand Alone Complex by projecting images on surrounding walls. Players take part in missions where they support a Tachikoma mech.
The exhibit recognizes your motions through the use of Microsoft's Kinect Sensor device. The system powering the display is PC-based, though.
To sample the world of Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society, visit Shibuya Parco from 3/24 to 4/19.
