That really depends what you want to do and what you mean "better".

I for one am not a web developer and don't give a rats ass what a browser scores in some javascript benchmark. I care how fast it is, howmany resources it uses and how secure it is...and thats about it.

IE9 is faster on most major pages than Chrome, uses less memory per tab than Chrome, boots faster than Chrome and uses hardware acceleration to load pages...Chrome doesnt.

No word on security on toms Hardware benchmarks for either browser, but for me and things that matter to my browsing experience, IE9 beats chrome.
