@pots55 i see where your coming from, and I used to think the same thing. Uncharted 2 changed that. ND managed to TOP the SP of the original AND throw in a MP that was fun, IMO. IMHO i think if you have a good dev, you can have your cake and eat it too. Not all devs can be as badass as ND and get away with it. Some might just suck, im not hearing good things about DS2 multi but AC:Brotherhood multi i heard is really good. that might be the game to finally make me plunge into that series. I think its the FPSs that are suffering, campaigns are getting shorter and emphasis on Multi is getting bigger, i blame that on the media and gamers who keep buying the CODs.
@milkyjoe ok, noted. I wouldnt go so far as to say the quality of the series dropped. its only two games in. and the 2nd wasnt even done by the original team, but i see what your saying even though i dont exactly agree. IMO i think some devs can do it and some cant. Rocksteady made a great game and they said multi would take away from SP. Just because they cant do it that doesnt mean it cant be done. ND's Uncharted prove that. but kudos to Rocksteady for not trying to jam something in they know wont work. Im greedy, i want my cake and i want to eadt it too. If a dev can give me a MP mode that doesnt sacrifice the SP, then bring it on.
