He makes good arguments for both. He does show a little favoritism to Crysis 2, but how could he not? He enjoyed it more than Killzone 3.

Only thing I question - amount of things on-screen. I haven't seen a scene yet with things as hectic in Crysis 2 as Killzone 3's most hectic sequences (but again, I have yet to play it).

Still, it's informative, even if it's just his perspective.

well i have always been amazed at Crysis 2 lighting, but i didnt think it had any advantage over killzone (i was termendiously impressed by both, for many reason, but they are very different).

but yeah, i did scratch my had when he said that, i havent seen a game render more chaos on screen as kZ3.

but its still good to know that Crysis looks great, i was bit worried (hopefully the character models look a lot better than not only crysis 1 but also the demo, thats alway been one of crysis's weak spots)

Just from my take right now, Crysis 2's lighting is what's truly astounding. I can't say if it's the "best" or not without playing it, but from the vids, it is top notch, as are the textures and particle effects.

However, there's not much more that I've seen that's truly making me think it's pushed beyond Killzone 3. Still ,my impressions will be up this week or next week.

since i too have not played the final version of crysis 2,

The MAWLER level is the best lighting i have seen in any game. its drop dead gorgeous
