Thanks for all your responses. Reading them, I realize that their is still a lot of good single player games out there, Uncharted seemingly being one of the best (I don't have a PS3, but the coming of THe Last Gardian might change that).
What is making me uneasy, is the fact that the developpers put multiplayer in games that were successfull as a single player experience. I especially think about Dead Space 2 and AC: Brotherhood. For now, the multiplayer aspect of the games didn't take anything out of the single campaign, but it worries me. I hope they don't "cut" the story line so every game that comes out will have a 4 hours campaign with a 2 hours coop mode only (as in the last Splinter Cell).
The length of a game does matter to me. I at least want 8 to 10 hours so I can really feel immersed in the world, story and characters. I like to take my time. I was so hyped for Force Unleased 2...you know the rest.
Anyway, we will see.
I am now replaying Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for the second time. It is still amazing. This is really my kind of game.
