There's plenty of great single-player games out there.  Sure, some games will focus more on multiplayer - there's a market for that.  But, as these games are expensive to maintain, only games that expect to attract a large audience (and a DLC-buying/subscription-paying audience) can go that route.  As some titles find success, others will try to emulate that.  These economic factors will probably force some games to go back to a single-player focused experience, but there will always be companies trying to get on the action.  Don't worry - single player games aren't going anywhere.  Where there's a market, there's a product.
