The NGP definitely interest me more, I'm not picking up either one as I am not a fan of handhelds.
Both will have their work cut out to survive as mobile phones get almost quaterly updates in the hardware spec department and most is available on contract so it is easier to pay for.
LG already offer 3D phones and by this time next year phones will be more powerful than the DS3 at least.
