Sure there's that, but by Including the Blu-ray in the PS3, some people purchased for just the games and not the Blu-ray funtion. Then some of those people later on decided to use it as a Blu-ray player when some of their favorite movies came out since they already have a Blu-ray player. This was Sony's Trojan Horse for getting Blu-ray into more consumer's houses.
