Why is it "illegal" to backup my games?

ihad my diablo 2 disc crack in the player and looked it up (2000), bliz did offer to send new discs... at a fee 10$.

 

i have a 360 game that's unusable due to a scratch it got from the console...

as long as you have cd key you can downlaod diablo and many other blizzard games for free on their sit

it's true i noticed that when i installed SCII (broke the CD in 2000)... i should try to find it :p (and for my other bliz games too... though i gave wc3 to a friend ^^)
