Ultimately i too would view this as a dispute between rich people (and thus out of my ideological range where i would automatically support labor), but i sympathize with the players in this particular case because its really the owners who are jockeying for more money and the owners want the 18-game season which nobody wants (does the NFL want to become the MLB? Playing the sport at times of the year when the sport shouldn't be played? I don't think so)
