crysis 2 (on consoles) isnt even using real stereoscopy.
also, the active shutter vs polarized glassed has nothing to do with the game, it has to do with the tv.
if the tv you using, has passive shutter/ polarized 3d, then you dont need to/cant use active shutter glasses, and you can still play killzone 3 in 3d.
you dont need active shutter glasses, its just that 99% of 3d tvs so far, are active shutter 3d, and according to cnet, currrently active shutter tvs> passive 3d tv
