Nope, it's still a massive failure. What do they still have to get back, $4 billion?

I guess less than that.

In any case, it's a mighty big number (that, you have to remember, dates back to around early 2005 when PS3 R&D started in earnest and those costs aren't reflected in the post-launch numbers).

Again, not bashing the console itself, just acknowledging that Sony royally screwed the pooch this generation. It will be almost impossible for them to recover and call the console a success.
