To believe that would equate to not believing that there is any existence after death since consciousness is just due to the complex interactions of the brain.

There is almost nothing, and a little self-reflection on your part will clearly reveal why.

Why can't you just ever say out loud what you think?

Because self-realization is something a living entity can only undergo alone, and putting it in words on a vg blog will make it seem even more rediculous to those that have never investigated it than what they thought before.
