Man this guy is screwy. If the reactor melts down and the winds blow inland. Most of Japan will be effected by radiation. Of course the Government isn't going to freak out Tokyo, what are they going to say? This guy says to tell everyone to evacuate, to where exactly? Almost all of Japan will be effected if the wind flows right. What is the Government supposed to say "Everyone get out of Japan"?
The Japanese Government is trying to maintain calm, of course the television isn't going to be over whelmed with "Your doomed videos", Japan doesn't want massive panic in an already chaotic situation.
What good would it do to tell all of Tokyo "You might get radiation poisoning if you live in Japan" What would the people do? Maybe run like hell out of Tokyo, then what?
The Japanese Government is getting ready to react to the crisis. Its almost a guarantee that the plant will melt down. The staff were all evacuated and a suicide mission was launched yesterday in which the television said the employees were rushing to certain death to try and prevent the meltdown.
What does this guy want exactly? Anybody with half a brain sees that the plant is 98% likely to melt down. What do you do in that situation. You try to calm people down, maintain order and react as quickly as possible to minimalize the damage.
You don't go blaring on loud speakers, "Your all going to be effected by radioactive fallout".
