It was obvious to me the demo did not represent the games graphics. It was nothing more than testing the gamers waters to see how the online would work.
Even the poorest quality Crysis 2 singleplayer video will show you this.
More importantly, The media who have played the game are positive so far. And if the rumours are true, other big media reviewers will state some big things.

I hope so, I expect it to be my fav FPS of the year thus far. I just think much of what was hyped may end up as "overhype".

It is possible that CryEngine3 may go over peoples heads. In that the engine is doing alot more than other engines in terms of realtime calculations all at once. Where other games confine areas or use tricks for certain things ( like cars in the streets being unmovable, so the physics engine doesnt have to worry about them ). In Crysis 2 even the cars in the streets that litter the place are movable by the player. It's a pretty amazing feat what Crytek have achieved.

I just haven't been impressed as much as I'd like to be. I'm not seeing more on screen than other titles and I'm not seeing the groundbreaking visuals promised by Crytek (specifically about the PS3 version).
What I've seen from the single player undoubtedly looks good, but not at the quality that was promised (at least, not yet). The full retail version isn't out, so the verdict is still up in the air. I'm just going to get it on the 360 to be safe.

Thats cool. :)
I'm fairly confident though in terms of technicality CryEngine 3 is ahead of other engines. It's the first time anything like this has been attemtpted on consoles. The level of Realtime calculations I mean.
